He kept Porsche a winning marque by hiring west coast racing star Kem Miles for the 1956 season. Von Neumann went on to become the largest Porsche distributor on the west coast. The car was later sold to a colleague of Von Neumann's in Arizona. In the mid 1990's the car was later sold to a prominent Porsche collector in New Jersey.
